英語で遊ぼう！ Let’s play in English!

みなさんこんにちは。

11月8日は立冬ですね。

Today, November 8th, is the first day of winter.

我が家では、アラジンストーブに灯油を入れて、点火確認を行いました。

At my house, we poured kerosene into the Aladdin stove and checked to see if it would ignite.

また、こたつも出しちゃいました。

I also put out a kotatsu.

タイヤが高値になるからと、すでに交換している車もチラホラ見かけております。

I have already seen a glimpse of cars that have already had their tires replaced because they are expensive.

あとは、いつ冬タイヤに交換するかですかね…

The other thing to consider is when to change to winter tires.

暦上では冬が始まった今日、寒さ吹き飛ばすように12名のお友だちが遊びに来てくれました。

Today was the beginning of winter according to the calendar, but 12 friends came to visit us to blow off the cold.

 

今日の集団活動は、「イングリッシュタイム」として、お友だちみんなで「カード取りゲーム」を楽しみました。

Today’s group activity was “English Time,” where all the friends enjoyed playing a “card picking game.”

 

その様子をお伝えしますね！

I will tell you how it went.

 

サポーターがギターを弾いている間、お友だちみんなはカードの周りを走ります。

All the friends run around the card while the supporter plays the guitar.

音楽が止まったと同時に、サポーターが英語で言った果物やスポーツや乗り物やアルファベット等のカードを早い者勝ちで取るゲーム。

As soon as the music stops, it’s a game where you take cards that represent fruits, sports, vehicles, alphabets, etc. that the supporters say in English on a first-come, first-served basis.

さぁ、早い者勝ちだよ！　サポーターの英語の発音をよく聞いて、対象カードを素早くゲットしよう！

Well, first come first served! Listen carefully to the supporters’ English pronunciation and get the target card quickly!

 

カードを取ることが出来たら記念撮影しよう。

If you can get the card, let’s take a commemorative photo.

お友だちみんな、元気いっぱいに遊んでくれてありがとうございました。

さて、今日のおやつはなにかな？

Well, what’s for today’s snack?

今日のおやつは、紐にぶら下がったおやつ袋を、お友だちみんなで自由に選んでいただきました。

For today’s snack, all the friends were free to choose a snack from a bag of snacks hanging from a string.

 

シークレットおやつでしたので、おやつ写真はございません。

Since it was a secret snack, I don’t have a photo of the snack.
