七夕飾り　The Star Festival decoration

みなさんこんにちは。

今日のリッキー南仙台の集団活動は、工作活動としてお友だちみんなで「七夕飾り」を作りました。

Today’s group activity at “Rickey-Minami Sendai” made “The Star Festival decoration” with all the friends as a work activity.

その様子をお伝えいたしますね。

最初に、お友だちみんなで動画を観ながら、七夕の歴史や由来について学びました。

First, all my friends watched a video and learned about the history and origin of Tanabata.

どうして短冊にお願い事を書くの？

Why do we write wishes on strips of paper?

 

昔の人が、織物の上手な織姫のように「物事が上達しますように」と、お願い事をしたのが始まりだと言われています。

It is said that it began in ancient times when people, like Orihime who was a skilled weaver, made a wish for things to improve.

笹の葉に飾ると、織姫と彦星の力で願いが叶えられたり、みんなを悪いものから守ってくれるという言い伝えがあるのだそうです。

Legend has it that if you decorate it with a bamboo leaf, your wishes will come true with the power of Orihime and Hikoboshi, and that it will protect everyone from bad things.

 

では、短冊に願い事を書いてみましょう。

Let’s write a wish on a strip of paper.

 

お友だちみんな、どんな願い事を書いてくれたのかな？
